Description

A growing business in Valley Center is looking for a reliable Bookkeeper to support their accounting needs. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on role and excels at maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring timely reporting. If you’re detail-oriented with a passion for numbers, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and deposits.

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.

Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare accurate financial reports.

Track payroll information and collaborate with external payroll providers when necessary.

Manage data entry for daily transactions and maintain organized financial records.

Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial close processes.

Provide support to CPA or external accounting firms during tax preparation.

Requirements

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.

Experience in small business accounting is a plus.

High school diploma required; an associate degree or certificate in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
