Robert Half Full-Time Professional is growing rapidly and searching for a talented full-time Bookkeeper to join our team in the Columbus, OH market! The bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting our clients on a project basis. With this position this bookkeeper will be working as a stand-alone bookkeeper for small businesses or working on specialized projects for larger businesses. Previous success in fast paced and dynamic environments with a "get it done mindset" are a must for this position.

General ledger management

Accounts payable processing

Accounts receivable processing

Collections

Journal entries and adjustments

Some payroll processing

Heavy reconciliations

Month-end close

Audit preparation

Requirements:

AA or BS/BA in Accounting/Finance is a plus

3+ years of accounting experience

Experience with 2 software packages: QuickBooks, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards

Experience in at least 2 industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, CPA firm,, Non-profit, Property Management, Healthcare, Construction

Payroll processing is a plus

Desire to learn, stay challenged and be self-motivated

Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros are a plus
