Our mission-driven Minneapolis client is seeking a permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their established organization. In this exciting opportunity, you will be handling a wide variety of duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, assisting with payroll duties, reconciliations, assisting in reporting, and additional accounting tasks as they arise!
An ideal candidate for this role will have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar and 2+ years of bookkeeping experience. Non-profit experience is preferred but not required. Experience in QuickBooks and Excel are also highly desirable.
This permanent opportunity offers free onsite parking, and flexibility to work from home 1 day/week once trained. This role has hours of 8am-5pm.

Requirements - Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
2+ years of related experience- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
QuickBooks experience preferred
Bookkeeping Functions experience preferred
Good understanding of bi-Monthly Payroll
Bookkeeping experience desired
Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Earlier work involving Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Well-founded grasp of Billing Functions
Deep understanding of Quickbooks Online
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Wide ranging experience with Grant Management
Quality experience with budgeting
Proven knowledge of Monthly Financial Statements
General familiarity with billing
Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
