About Bloomberg On-Site Support Manager, London

  Bloomberg On-site Support (BOS) provides 24/7 on-site technical support to our clients in more than 75 countries worldwide. We work closely with other Technical Operations teams to understand client needs and deliver personal, on-the-ground assistance. We're looking for a Regional Manager who has shown excellent leadership and has a keen interest in technology to join our team!

  What's in it for you:

  By taking on this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead one of our regional BOS teams out of London. You will be managing a group of team leaders responsible for the day to day operations of BOS technicians in various offices across EMEA. Our BOS technicians provide technical (remote and onsite) support to our terminal customers, they manage our local node sites, and support our local offices. In this role, you'll develop the ability to manage staff remotely, you will gain a deeper understanding of Bloomberg's proprietary network and the technical infrastructure of the terminal. You will be part of the User Support organization, and will be working closely with peers in Bloomberg Customer Support (BCS), Bloomberg Technical Support (BTS) and Analytics/Sales.

  Interest in technology and a result-oriented attitude Demonstrated people leadership and development experience Strong understanding of Bloomberg's commercial goals Ability to build strategic partnerships with stakeholders in EMEA Sales Proficiency in utilizing operational tools to ensure efficient and streamlined service delivery Ability to manage regional node sites to ensure stability of Bloomberg's proprietary Network Support the customer & employee experience across our regional remote offices

  You need to have:

  Experience in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace Excellent communication/team-building skills Previous leadership experience Ability to handle changing priorities and deadlines Ability to gain consensus from various stakeholders across the firm Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure Strong sense of \"team\" and ability to lead by example Able to make strong decisions independently Experience in successful project planning, execution, and timely completion of regional projects

  We'd love to see:

  Previous experience of remote management Previous experience developing leaders Understanding of regional HR processes for performance management, recruitment, etc. Familiarity with reporting tools including Qlik Sense Prior experience managing relationships with third-party service providers
