　　The role you'll contribute:

　　Responsible for assuring accurate and timely completion of birth certificates, neonatal death certificates and fetal death certificates for submission to the state. Assures that all regulations are met with respect to information obtained and submitted. Assists in the nursing unit secretary functions as required.

　　The value you'll bring to the team:

　　Completes all information related to birth certificates, fetal demise and neonatal deaths as required and assures accuracy and timeliness of this information.

　　Communicates with patients in person or via phone; handles or routes requests in a competent, caring manner.

　　Communicates with HIM and Case Management related to birth certificate information for third party payors and release of information.

　　Communicates with and sends reports to the State Health Department, Denver Vital Records, Paternity Operations Unit, Coroners, Mortuaries.

　　Participates in the Bereavement Committee to discuss issues and process improvement opportunities related to fetal demise and/or neonatal deaths.

　　Qualifications

　　The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

　　High school diploma or GED

　　Medical terminology, previous experience in the healthcare field; clerical skills
