Position Summary
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver invitesapplications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor position in ourteaching professorial track (non-tenure track) for the academic year2024-2025 beginning September 1, 2024. The position will be responsible forteaching undergraduate biology courses for non-science majors with possibilityof major's courses in area of specialization. The duties include teachingsix courses per year (quarter system) plus service including advising.
Appointments at this rank will be made initially as a one-year contractrenewable on a yearly basis for three years, followed by a three-yearcontract where renewal is contingent on formal performance review. TheTeaching Professorial Series provides opportunity for promotion andadvancement within the series. The University is especially interested incandidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academiccommunity through teaching, service, and possibly research.

TheUniversity's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website(the law school is on a semester system and has a different academiccalendar).

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $72,000.
