　　Position Summary

　　The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver is lookingto hire adjunct instructors for the 2023 - 2024 academic year to teach avariety of courses. This posting will be utilized to seek applicants forteaching for both adjunct and faculty overload. This posting will serve formultiple openings.

　　Essential Functions

　　Teaching adjunct faculty are required to teach as determined by the courseschedule, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and beavailable to assist students with assignments. The University operates on aquarter system.

　　Details of teaching responsibilities will be provided by the department at thetime of hire.

　　MSPrevious teaching experience, ability to teach at the university level

　　Work Schedule

　　While the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday,8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and arebased on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. TheUniversity's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website(the law school is on a semester system and has a different academiccalendar).

　　The course rate will be $4,580-$5,725.
