　　Dental billing experience requirement two years.

　　Knowledge of Dentrix Software, dental insurance plans Medicaid, PPO, HMO.

　　Accurately completes insurance forms, both commercial and Medicaid, for payment and/or pre-authorization in the Dentrix Enterprise system.

　　Generates and processes account adjustments, refunds, and allowances and change of financial class so that bills can be generated in both the hospital Optimum system and Dentrix.

　　Understanding aging reports, ability to speak with insurance representative in effective manner.

　　Works in conjunction with dentist and patients in estimating cost of proposed treatment and must maintain current information of patients financial class status and fee schedules.

　　The dental biller will stay current in Insurance regulations and applicable co-payments.
