We are offering an employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Inglewood, California. The role involves a blend of accounting and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be tasked with managing billing procedures, ensuring accuracy in invoices, and maintaining strong communication lines across our team.

Schedule: Monday–Saturday (one Saturday off per month)

Start Time: 5am daily

Position: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize various accounting software systems to enhance efficiency in billing processes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer billing records.

• Verify invoice details such as weights and prices, and rectify any discrepancies.

• Handle all billing-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

• Use strong math skills and 10-key skills to perform accurate calculations.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all invoices are sent out correctly.

• Communicate effectively with drivers and plant staff, some of whom are Spanish speaking.

• Participate in answering inbound calls, providing excellent customer service.

• Assist with additional accounting functions, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

Strong math and 10-key data entry skills

Bilingual in Spanish preferred (to communicate with drivers and plant staff)

Ability to work onsite in Inglewood and start at 5:00 AM

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Experience in a manual billing system is a plus
