Description We are in search of a meticulous and well-organized Billing Clerk to become a part of our team in the non-profit sector, located in Williamsville, New York. This role will require you to execute a range of tasks related to processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Assist with Medicaid Billing

• Check emails and respond appropriately

• Use accounting software systems to check for billing and bill through the cycles

• Ensure all billing functions are pushed through effectively

• Generate reports and upload into the system

• Update audit schedules in Excel

• Provide backup for vacation/coverage

• Navigate multiple systems such as IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and ADP - Financial Services

• Perform other accounting functions as needed Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge and experience in Billing Functions

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Familiarity with Collection Processes

• Strong Customer Service skills
