As a Billing Clerk, your duties will consist of reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. This position for a long-term contract / temporary to permanent Billing Clerk is based in the Morton Grove, Illinois area.

　　Responsibilities

　　Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data consistency and excellence

　　Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered

　　Build financial controls and procedures

　　Gauge billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

　　Excellent oral and written communications skills

　　Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

　　Completely competent in working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

　　Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Comprehensive knowledge of billing

　　Foundational knowledge in accruals

　　Proficiency in month end closings

　　Account reconciliation experience preferred
