Under the supervision of the Teller Supervisor, performs avariety of teller and member services to Credit Union members inconformance with established Credit Union policies, strategies andprocedures. Key Job Requirements: - Performs any functions, withinscope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of serviceand responsiveness to the members served by the Credit Union whileperforming all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatorycompliance guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures. -Accurately processes a variety of member transactions in accordance withcash handling procedures and policy (deposits, withdrawals, loanpayments, check cashing, etc). Balances cash, work and ensures properdocumentation is signed and stamped at end of day. - Actively crosssells and provides information concerning Credit Union products andservices in accordance with Credit Union policies. Promotes Branchbusiness development and seeks to broaden member base. Responds tomember inquiries and refers to Member Services for further action asneeded. - Adheres to branch security practices and guidelines (securesworkstation, keys, combinations, keycard and member information) andregulatory compliance. Accountable for organizing workstation,inventorying cash/coin, requesting currency and hand counting uponreceipt. Keeps abreast of ongoing changes, specific to job knowledge,through the use of comprehension exercises, questionnaires and theGOLD/BVS (Greylock Online Learning and Development) courses. - Activelyparticipates in all sales campaigns through the use of The ProductKnowledge Center and in-branch coaching. Related Responsibilities: -Uses Greylock\'s principles of Relationship Decisioning. - Promotes theCredit Union wherever and whenever possible. Encouraged to activelyrepresent the Credit Union in local civic, community and professionalorganizations. The above is a description of the ordinary duties of theposition. Position Requirements: - High School diploma or itsequivalent. - Ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish andEnglish. - Six months cash handling experience in a financial orservice-related position preferred. - Good organizational,interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills and attention todetail required. - Ability to efficiently and effectively process a highvolume of transactions. - Perform as a team player, displaying positiveand professional attitude toward members and co-workers. - Ability touse various types of office equipment; including office software, spreadsheet applications, adding machines, cash recyclers (as applicable) andPC proficient in Microsoft Office. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds andstand for a long period of time. - Employee needs reliabletransportation to travel to and from various branches. - Mileage will bereimbursed to and from branches from the employee\'s base work location.
