Description ECC is looking for a Site Superintendent / SSHO - Fuels for project sites in the US and/or overseas for liquid fuels maintenance (LFM) repairs to Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This position may require travel up to 90% of the time to project sites, including international project locations. Due to the travel requirements, the candidate can live in any US location. In this position you will:
Coordinate with the project team, Health and Safety Officer, and Quality Control Officer for interaction of task prioritizationEnsure compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements as identified by functional officersAttend all in-briefs and out-briefsAct as key implementer of field activities and tasks preparatory to field activitiesAssist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project ManagerContribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges and general field operationsAssist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve the objectives of a taskWhen appropriate, operate the equipment as neededAssume the role of team lead to assist the quality control officer and health and safety officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans, standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achieving project objectivesCoordinate with the team to prioritize field activities and identify task assignmentsIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this positionRequirements:
Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problemsAbility to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activitiesKnowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirementsTwo years of progressively responsible experience on environmental or construction projectsKnowledge of scheduling and budgeting for large construction projects DoD POL Fuels construction superintendent experienceTravel: Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time domestically and internationallyEducation: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. Preferred Qualifications:
More than two years experience with DoD POL Fuels construction projects
ECC targeted base salary range is $90,000 to $150,000 annually.
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
