JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Load / unload steel from incoming trucks 2. Stagesteel for production and cleaning and move the finished product to theyard 3. Organizes steel on the yard and in the plant 4. Operate andvisually inspects all equipment (i.e., forklifts, cranes, tooling, etc.)before usage to ensure compliance and that no maintenance is needed 5.May use wire, chain, and fixtures to attach steel to jig racks for thegalvanizing process. May also un-attach steel as needed. 6. May unloadand moves bundles of zinc 7. May use building cranes and jig trolleys toprepare and move jigs or steel 8. May clean material using a grinder,file, or brush as specified by the customer / supervisor 9. May inspectmaterial for sags, runs, drips, and bare spots, holes, smothered spots,etc. and reports issues to management. 10. Perform housekeepingactivities to keep the production area and equipment clean andorganized. 11. Confers with supervisor(s) to report material conditionsthat could result in production or customer problems or quality issues.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual skills a must(Spanish/English) Competent/experience with forklift, overhead cranesPast metal working experience a plus.
