The ideal candidate may possess a good background in Healthcare Business.The Opportunity:Lead data engineer and analyst to deliver data sets and analysis results as per business requirements.Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/Non-Functional business requirements.Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, recommending platform greater scalability/improvementsCollaborate with initiative leads to optimize and enhance new capabilities.Mentor team in migrating Hadoop on-prem to cloud AWS and SnowflakeCreate and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.Presenting analysis results/recommendations using PowerPointThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need:Hands-on experience in migrating Hadoop on-prem to cloud platform, AWS, S3, SnowflakeExperience in analyzing data using the 'Big-Data' platform, AWS, Snowflake, Spark, Python, and Scala Strong Analytical skills in relating multiple data sets and identifying patternsHands-on experience in writing advanced SQL queries, familiarity with a variety of databaseExperience in building and optimizing 'Big-Data' pipelines, architecture, and data setsExperience in Hadoop file formats like ORC, Avro, Parquet, CSVExperience in NoSQL databases like MongoDB Visualize data sets using Tableau or Power BI: 12+ years of IT experience and good expertise in SDLC/Agile 6+ years in programming language any (Python, Scala, Spark) 3+ years of experience in Cloud big data platform AWS and Snowflake 5+ years experience in providing solutions for Business intelligence and advanced data analytics 3+ years Healthcare IT projectsDesired/Preferred: Scheduling tools like Control-M, Oozie NoSQL databases like MongoDB Implement Python flex APIs to share data insights to digital systemsCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.Role Location: RemoteCompensation Range: $80,000-$120,000Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
