  Job Summary:

  This role will support and carry out the Global Supply Chain Business Analytics strategy in support of the organizations reporting and data architecture needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of our reporting tools and data sets while ensuring adherence to and compliance with the CooperVision data governance policies and guidelines.

  Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  Manage the development, production, and delivery of high-quality management information reports to support Operational reporting needs both internally and externally, including to customers Understanding of data architecture related to data warehouses/lakes and how to design and optimize them and the output which we can obtain from these data sources Understanding of data modeling particularly as it relates to the creation of visual representations of our data set to effectively relay information to our GSC audience Respond in a timely fashion to requests for information from stakeholders ensuring appropriate accuracy and quality standards are upheld at all times Understanding of the needs of the organization and enable the creation of reports and KPIs to improve overall customer service, operational, and supply chain effectiveness / efficiencies Ensure all reporting responsibilities and processes are properly documented and all reporting materials produced are subject to appropriate controls prior to distribution Identify gaps in current Business Analytics processes and provide solutions to close those gaps Reduce the reliance on spreadsheets by producing appropriate automated reporting solutions utilizing existing tools Define business processes to ensure the consistency, uniformity, accuracy of global data, and identify current data inaccuracies Provide specialist knowledge and support to Operations leadership team and other business stakeholders Use analytical skills to help identify business gaps, diagnose issues and develop options and solutions as required Establish trust with project stakeholders demanding high service level standards Lead continuous improvement efforts in reporting, operations, and projects Travel:

  International travel as required not to exceed 10%

  Qualifications

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  Extensive knowledge and experience: handling large datasets in Microsoft Excel; and with Tableau, Cognos, or similar tools that can be leveraged to architect and design reporting solutions Demonstrated understanding and experience with SQL, particularly related to data sourcing and creating data sets Experience in working with disparate data sets and forming solutions around aligning data, and creating a comprehensive data source to support the supply chain global data strategy Experience in current reporting technologies with a desire and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and how these can enable the organizational strategy Ability to translate business requirements into an integrated technical solution while working with the Information Systems group in addition to relaying systems challenges back to the business/operations team to negotiate a sound solution Experience in formulating comprehensive testing and training plans along with the ability to execute them in a cross-functional team environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to perform root cause analysis Overall knowledge of general Supply Chain enterprise functions and processes Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail Ability to develop and make recommendations, and produce exceptional quality output Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, adapting to changing business demands Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes and procedures Ability to build an effective network of contacts to facilitate achievement of goals and ensure continuous and consistent delivery momentum Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform to a high level of accuracy in all tasks Ability to motivate and lead others in a matrix-managed environment Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Strong business facing skills with experience in working with global teams in a team-oriented and collaborative environment Ability to effectively communicate between and across functional and technical teams Work Environment:

  Normal office environment Prolonged sitting in front of a computer Exposure to manufacturing environment Experience:

  Demonstrated experience of working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Baan, SAP, etc. in a fast-paced manufacturing or retail environment MS SQL Server skills with a sound understanding of ETL processes preferably with experience in Data Warehouse development. Experience with data consolidation, harmonization, and curation into a single data source Must have strong analytical skills with a minimum of 7 years of experience producing functional and technical specification documentation in addition to the development of the supporting architecture Supply Chain and/or Logistics data structure and modeling a plus Previous experience with IBM Cognos, Tableau Data Visualization and Report Writing, and with advanced planning systems and/or master data management systems are all a plus. Education:

  Bachelors degree required in Business, Data Analytics, International Business and or 7 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran

  For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $91, 727 and $122, 302 and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
