About Benefits Administrator

Description

As a Benefits Administrator specializing in Health and Wellness, your primary responsibility is to manage and administer employee benefits related to health and wellness programs within an organization. Your role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives that promote employee well-being and support their healthcare needs.

Responsibilities:

Health and Wellness Management:

Oversee the administration of health and wellness benefits programs.

Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of comprehensive health and wellness services.

Benefits Administration in WorkDay:

Utilize WorkDay system for benefits administration tasks.

Manage employee data and benefits information within the WorkDay platform.

Event Processing:

Process various benefits-related events such as new enrollments, life events, and terminations.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of events to maintain employee benefits continuity.

Error Resolution:

Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in benefits administration.

Investigate and address any issues related to benefits processing.

Claims Review:

Review and validate insurance claims submitted by employees.

Liaise with insurance providers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with claims.

Eligibility Updates:

Update employee eligibility status for benefits programs as per company policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure accurate eligibility determination and communication to employees.

Terminate Benefits Billing:

Manage the termination process for benefits billing.

Coordinate with finance or billing departments to cease billing for terminated employees' benefits.

Medicare CMS Responses:

Serve as the point of contact for coordinating responses to Medicare CMS (Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services) inquiries or audits.

Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and timely responses to CMS requests.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Prior experience in benefits administration, preferably using WorkDay or similar HRIS platforms.

Strong understanding of health and wellness benefits programs and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in benefits data management.

Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Knowledge of Medicare regulations and experience in coordinating responses to CMS inquiries is a plus.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
