The intervention procedures are designed by a Case Supervisor, but the accurate implementation of these procedures is the responsibility of the Sr. Aide. A Place to Be Proud.ResponsibilitiesImplements behavioral intervention in the home or school of the client.Supervises Behavioral Intervention Aides through training, scheduling, tracking attendance and time sheets, and evaluations.Prepares documentation necessary for each client, including weekly summaries, team meeting notes, monthly summaries, and quarterly summaries.Attends weekly clinic meetings and pre-meetings for each client.Attends weekly staff meetings/training seminars and other designated training sessions.Implements all procedures delineated by the Case Supervisor, but no others.Creates and maintains a logbook for each client.Protects child?s right to confidentiality.Maintains appropriate relationships with the client/family.Performs other related duties as required.QualificationsKNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDBachelor Degree in the field of Psychology, special education, speech/language, or related field.Successful completion of coursework in Behavioral Psychology.Nine months of experience as a Behavioral Intervention Aide or similar position.Reliable transportation and car insurance required to deliver care to clients at home or school.MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSLift/carry up to 40 lbs. unassisted frequently (34-66%) Talk on phone/in person; See/hearWalk/intermittent runningSit/Stand for a minimum of 30 minutes; Quick mobility; Manage physical resistance in a child up to 14 years of age; Swimming (occasionally)The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
