Garfield Elementary, Oaklyn Public School, Collingswood Early Childhood Center, Thomas Sharp Elementary, Zane North Elementary, Mark Newbie Elementary.The Director is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the Healthy Kids Extended Day Program Site.SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:45am & 2:30pm-6:15pm (estimated)JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-ExemptJOB PAY RATE: $20 per hourJOB CONSISTS OF:Ensure staff and program complies with Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies and host school policiesDirect hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which include fitness, STEAM, academic, art and other group activities as well as homework completion.Perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration and staffing.Provide continual communication with parents and family members via the Brightwheel App.Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, keeping them abreast of daily occurrences and issues as they arise and in a timely manner, working collaboratively as a team to provide the highest quality of care, a positive working environment and to problem solve proactively.RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to Child Growth and Development; or Teaching Certification from the Department of Education in Elementary Education, Nursery School, Preschool through Third Grade (P-3) or Teacher of the Handicapped. In addition to, six Early Childhood credits and two years of experience working with childrenorBachelor's Degree in any field other than those listed above. Plus, six Early Childhood credits and four years of experience working with childrenorHead Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New JerseyQUALIFICATIONS:Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCRMust be medically fit to perform all job duties, free of communicable disease including TB and provide documentation from a licensed physician within the past year.Warm, friendly, caring, upbeat personality. Exceptional people skills in dealing with young children, parents and staff.
