Preferred experience in vivo optogenetic techniques and behavioral analysis; experience in brain anatomy analyses is also essential. Candidate would need to work with other graduate students, postdocs, and other researchers on collaborative projects studying the role of steroid hormones on brain function and behavior. Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, organized and effective at working and interacting with others as part of a team. Attention to detail, following with literature, ability to trouble shoot and multi-task efficiently are essential. Candidates must also have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and accurately document, analyze, and report research results. Limited to a period of three years up to five, depending on training needs. Qualifications PhD or equivalent degree in neuroscience, immunology or molecular biology with a preferential to solid training in rodent models of neurobiology.
