Job Description

　　The Backend Software Development Engineer will be supporting the development of a new timeseries database feature/service for the data persistence team at a large fintech company. This team will support any other BU's/teams that need a time series database (likely analytics and queries teams) by developing the database for them. They will be using Apache Druid for developing the time series db's, as well as Java Spring Boot for coding. The engineer will spend roughly 40-50% of their time coding and 30% of their time designing and solutioning.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　7+ years of experience as a backend software engineer/developer

　　Solutioning and architecting experience with the ability to make high level technical decisions

　　Java Spring Boot coding experience

　　Experience developing a time series database stored on Apache Druid

　　Experience in microservice architecture

　　Experience supporting a large-scale, highly-distributed system with at least 5-10k requests per second - Fintech background null
