　　As a Senior Backend Developer you'll be working on the Cloud backend of one of the world's leading consumer smart home ecosystems. The WiZ ecosystem is expanding rapidly through new lights, accessories and OEM partners, as well as exciting new use-cases such as pushing home automation a step further without requiring any new hardware. Your role is to design, build, and deliver Cloud services that answer the needs expressed not only by the business and markets, but most importantly by our customers.

　　What you'll do Show off your outstanding experience with backend services to deliver endpoints that are as crystal-clear for users to consume as they are robust, secure and lightning-fastEngage with multiple teams (product, firmware, support, UI/UX, infra, etc...) to understand how to interface the parts you're working on with the rest of our ecosystemMaintain and extend our portfolio of integrations with third-parties (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, etc...)Identify areas of improvement whenever/wherever you see them, then find and discuss options to make things better, and finally document them so your plan be can put to executionYour qualifications 5+ years of working experience in software development, with a main focus on backend services and REST APIsFlawless understanding of backend languages and technologies, preferably PHP and MySQLSolid knowledge of cloud computing (AWS) and distributed processing, version-controlled development flows (Git, Git Flow, pull/merge requests, peer review), automated integration and deployment concepts (CI/CD pipeline), tricks of the trade in backend development (OAuth, ORM, microservices vs monoliths)Systematic problem-solving methodology alongside an acute attention to detailImpeccable communication skills in both written and spoken EnglishWhat you'll get in return...
