　　Job Summary

　　At the LA Commissary with Wolfgang Puck Catering, where culinary magic unfolds for our events and corporate accounts, we have an exciting opportunity for a Back of the House Manager. In this role, you will be the driving force behind all activities in the back of the unit for the commissary, providing essential leadership and guidance to our utility and culinary teams. Your responsibilities will encompass hiring, training, developing, coaching, and counseling.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Adhere diligently to HACCP guidelines, ensuring the efficient, safe, and sanitary execution of food production, purchasing, receiving, food storage, and facility maintenance.

　　Provide strong leadership and direction to our utility and culinary teams, managing crucial aspects such as hiring, training, development, coaching, and counseling.

　　Oversee inventory management, ordering/purchasing, food cost controls, training initiatives, and sanitation protocols.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　A degree in Culinary Arts is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

　　Possess a minimum of three years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.

　　Demonstrate expertise in high-volume purchasing, food storage, inventory control, and sanitation procedures.

　　Be a self-starter with exceptional multitasking abilities.

　　Exhibit knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles.

　　Have the physical capability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs. as well as manage proper food item storage.

　　Possess strong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management, and coaching skills.

　　Communicate effectively both in written and verbal form.

　　Proficiency in various computer programs, Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, and internet usage.

　　Implement strong financial, budgetary, and food cost control practices.

　　Uphold the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.

　　Possession of ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
