What You Will Do :
Support Department of State and related organizations on remote, hybrid, and on-site projects.
Identify and understand client requirements, build relationships, design solutions, and drive initiatives forward.
Work collaboratively on cross-functional teams with data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, and other roles.
Provide DevOps engineering in Azure (and possibly AWS) to deploy data science models and ETL data pipelines.
Engineer Dev, Test, Stage, and Prod environments and understand their different needs.
Utilize/perform the following features and functions in Azure:
Managed identities.
Azure Blob Storage & Azure Data Lake Storage, connecting to the storage using a managed identity in Python and R.
Azure Portal to manage services like virtual machines, storage accounts, and managed identities.
Unit testing.
PowerShell scripting.
Support business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
B.S. or B.A. in a quantitative, analytical, or computational discipline.
Three plus (3+) years of relevant professional experience in cloud DevOps engineering.
Experience in DevOps engineering in Azure to deploy data science models and ETL data pipelines.
Ability to operate successfully on remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the greater DC metro area.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
M.S. or M.A. in a quantitative, analytical, and computational discipline.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud DevOps engineering.
Proficiency in Python and demonstrated ability to write, debug and maintain Python scripts, working with xmltodict package to parse XMLs.
Knowledge of XML and familiarity with the XML structure and schemas.
Experience supporting Federal Defense & Security organizations.
