About Axiom Developer (Charlotte)

  Experis IT (a ManpowerGroup company) has partnered with a leading financial services organization. The job location is in Charlotte, NC for a contract Axiom Developer to assist their team. We require candidates who are willing to provide their last 5 years of W2 records (The client will conduct a thorough background check upon hire). The candidates must be local and W2 only; no third-party candidates will be accepted at this time.

  Location: Charlotte, NC ( onsite job, need local candidates only)

  Duration:    12- 18+ months

  Rate: 50- 56 $/Hour on W2

  Job Summary:

  Overview:

  To support ongoing regulatory changes in Americas Regulatory Reporting with a large focus on Axiom development for FRR (Financial Regulatory Reporting) reports. The role is crucial for addressing regulatory reporting changes within specified timelines and planned development work in Axiom to enhance/build reports queued by FRR Business. Additionally, the role involves supporting current Axiom report runs in production without impacting submissions and internal report dues.

  Responsibilities:

  Axiom Configuration:Ability to perform Axiom configuration from data source, data model, portfolios aggregations.

  Issue Analysis:Analyze issues with Axiom configurations and conduct root cause analysis.

  PL/SQL Development:Develop and review PL/SQL code to support data sourcing into Axiom.

  Ensure understanding of end-to-end data flow from database to Axiom.

  Code/Configuration Standards:Ensure code/configuration written meets predefined company and department standards.

  Requirements Review:Review requirements documents to ensure functional requirements are well understood.

  Performance Tuning:Review PL/SQL codes and conduct performance tuning exercises.

  Unit Testing:Prepare and execute detailed unit test cases to test the Axiom code in Controller View.

  Implementation Coordination:Coordinate implementation, including packaging of code, and obtain required approvals.

  Communication:Coordinate and communicate with business counterparts for requirement gathering and UAT testing.

  Support:Provide ongoing and post-implementation support in a timely Agile fashion.

  Qualifications:

  6+ years in IT.

  3 or more years of experience in Axiom CV9/10, Adenza interaction, SQL, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL.

  Experience in Axiom development, unit testing portfolios, aggregations, nodes, Shorthands development, and thorough free form/tabular report dependency testing.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with in-memory data grids and parallel computing

  BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline

  Knowledge of financial markets and the banking industry

  Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing software development in Agile environment.
