Description and Requirements
Role Value Proposition:
The Global Security organization is seeking an AVP of AI Security to spearhead our efforts in safeguarding the utilization of AI technologies across the organization. This role is pivotal to enable MetLife’s business and IT teams in their use of AI systems while making sure they are protected from emerging threats. The role is a proactive, shift-left, enabler and will work across the organization to ensure MetLife can securely use AI in a dynamic and quickly evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of a robust AI security strategy.· Partner with cross functional teams to integrate security into the design, architecture, and development of AI security solutions.
· Evaluate AI use-cases to identify security risks and vulnerabilities to make sure the right risk mitigation controls are in place.
· Continuously test AI systems and processes to ensure protection against various types of cyber-attacks.
· Act as a subject matter expert advising the organization on how threat actors are attacking AI systems.
· Raise awareness across the business and IT teams about AI security best practices.
Serve on the Responsible Use of AI committee and partner with legal, privacy and data governance to ensure AI is used responsibility.· Champion AI utilization across Global Security teams and processes.
· Direct and mentor a skilled team of security specialists.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
5+ years leading teams across multiple Information Security domains· 3+ years’ experience supporting emerging technologies
· 3+ years’ experience with multiple frameworks used to assess technology risk
· 3+ years assessing threat actor tactics and evaluating prevention controls
· Broad technical skills across, cloud, data, networking, access, infrastructure, and application security
· Clear communication and presentation skills
· Ability to help team across a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds understand AI risk while helping them achieve their goals.
Deep understanding of AI models and data governance practices· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
