Job Description
The AV System Administrator will provide onsite support to a Federal Government client in Washington, DC. This role provides support for AV infrastructure technology (ie Crestron in O365 environment) for collaboration, meetings, training, and specialized use meeting rooms.
Provide Tier 3 level support working to program and commission existing and new equipment
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree plus 1-3 year experience with AV over IP or 4-6 years equivalent work experience
5 years experience supporting audio and video teleconferencing within Microsoft environment
Experience programming Crestron Panels, preferable Flex, for use within Microsoft environment
Certified in Microsoft 365, focused in Crestron strongly preferred
Support DC client onsite 3-4 days a week
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Provide recommendations and support for audio-visual integration projects at client facilities for mission critical and high-visibility command center, conference rooms and meeting spaces.
Provide technical troubleshooting for day to day operations, coordinates vendor repairs, including scheduling with vendors and customers, hardware installation and AV system commissioning.
Configure AV equipment and program Crestron control systems for use in various client locations
Implements appropriate controls and quality assurance; ensures adherence to client processes and procedures, consistent and efficient trouble resolution, error reduction, and continuous process improvement.
Knowledge with AV hardware and software within Microsoft environment, integrating new and existing hardware, make Crestron hardware and software updates and patches as well as related hardware to keep AV system current
Serve as liaison between the AV and 365 team
Keep track of work efforts, time, and products via ServiceNow ticketing system on a daily basis
Update hardware inventory reports and perform audits of equipment that arrived on site compared to what was documented
Locate and review project SOW to ensure installation is technically accurate
Create and maintain AV documentation
Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and changing environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
