This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following Corporate Office locations: St. Petersburg, FL, Denver, CO, Southfield, MI, Memphis, TN.
Job Summary
The Principal Solution Architect builds detailed architecture blueprints and roadmaps to enable solving business problems of highest priority and complexity across the business groups. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex issues and problems. Defines, oversees, and maintains the architectural integrity of the overall technology solution of a project, product, or system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads conceptual architecture design for process and deployment architectural views.
Focuses on integration and interfacing with all architecturally defined layers of endpoint and cloud mobile application security.
Reviews application and project high-level architectural design to assess impact to overall solution architecture.
Designs solutions within defined architectural standards, principles and guidelines.
Provides breadth and depth of knowledge in securing data and privacy involving infrastructure and operational interfacing across applications; does “deep dive” on technical issues.
Works to make sure software engineering processes address infrastructure and interfacing concerns and requirements.
Understands, advocates, and augments the principles of information technology strategies.
Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon the business services and processes.
“Sells” the architecture process, its outcome, and ongoing results.
Designs and participates in the implementation of an enterprise architecture based on business requirements and information technology strategies and trends.
Designs and participates in the governance activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise technical and/or solutions architecture.
Consults with application development projects to fit systems to the enterprise technical and/or solution architecture and identifies when it is necessary to modify the application to accommodate new technology and/or solution and application trends or vice versa.
Travel quarterly to other Corporate Office locations.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
All components of the enterprise technical architecture and process.
Basic financial models and budgeting.
In-depth knowledge of CASB, SASE, DLP, and Endpoint Protection
Skill in
Promoting the benefits of change and developing systems and/or procedures to effectively implement change.
Applying effective questioning and listening techniques to determine each party’s position. Looks for common ground and builds on areas of agreement. Ensures that the agreed-upon alternatives have the support of all parties involved.
Overseeing integration, engineering, and administration of endpoint and cloud application protection security tools including, traditional and next-gen AV, EDR, DLP, CASB, M365, and Box

Education/Previous Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related study
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience required with a focus on endpoint protection, cloud security, and zero-trust architecture
An equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry
Licenses/Certifications
CISSP required
CISM and CCSP are preferred but not required
