　　What Is the Opportunity?

　　The Travelers Canada Internship Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training and learn more about the property & casualty insurance industry. Interns receive challenging work assignments that add value and impact the organization.

　　What Will You Do?

　　Internship will include:

　　Complete challenging and meaningful work.

　　Work alongside a cohort of fellow interns from across the country.

　　Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization and more!

　　Learn and understand effective strategies for handling an Auto Physical Damage Claim.

　　Develop knowledge of the Ontario Auto Policy (OAP 1) and the Ontario Insurance Act.

　　Interaction with all levels of management.

　　Networking opportunities.

　　Competitive compensation.

　　Perform other duties as assigned.

　　What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

　　We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and who are excited about the prospect of making Claims their future career choice.

　　Students who are serious about entering the insurance industry is preferred.

　　Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.

　　Students completing their final or 3rd year is preferred.

　　Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills.

　　Strong analytical skills.

　　Strong problem-solving skills

　　What is a Must Have?

　　Must be pursuing post-secondary degree or diploma

　　Legally eligible to work in Canada
