Our client in Chicopee is looking for a candidate to fillthe roll of a 3rd shift Automatic Assembly, Set-Up & Operate position.The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included butnot limited to this job description ? other tasks may be assigned andexpected to be performed. Perform preventive maintenance inspectionbefore the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive MaintenanceCheck Sheet. Apply oil or grease to specified areas. Confirm theoperability of all detectors. The ability to perform a morecomprehensive PM on the machines including but not limited to oilchanges. Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understandthe alarm messages, identify what this issue is and how to correct theissue. The assembly line consists of the following machines/operations:roller link assembly, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing,articulation checking, center distance measuring, automatic cutting, andendless operation, washing, final inspection, and packing. Adhere towork standards. Responsible for maintaining production schedules,quality control records, chain assembly records, shipping chargenumbers, and the traceability records for each charge of chain andreferring any unusual problems to the departmental supervisor. Preparetest samples for quality control per work standard. Record productionand any other data required utilizing various forms as directed. Utilizea machine-monitoring system to record downtime. Detect faulty operationor defective material and report these and other unusual conditions tothe group leader or supervisor. Maintain work area and equipment in aclean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations.Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2-5 Years of experiencerunning multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.Safety First mindset Strong focus on Quality Apply today!!
