JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Under the supervision of the ProgramSupervisor and/or Qualified Supervising Provider, provides behavioralservices to patients in the autism program. Participates on thetreatment team and carries out services as described on the treatmentplan. This role includes the following duties and actively supports themission statement of Mercy Behavioral Health Services. May includeweekends, holidays, day, evening, night, and/or on-call hours.Responsibilities Provides in-home and community behavioral services topatients with autism as directed in the treatment plan. Participates asa treatment team member by attending meetings, providing feedback aboutpatient progress, and sharing impressions of patient status. Documentsobservations and care provided in the medical record. Observes patientsand reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the ProgramSupervisor and/or Qualified Supervising Provider Participates indepartment and unit performance improvement activities. The employeewill need to maintain current de-escalation training and utilizede-escalation techniques on a daily basis. Education and Experience HighSchool graduate or equivalent. Experience preferred. Must complete 40hours of specified orientation on autism and application of techniques.Certification/Licensure Approved CPR or BLS certification requiredwithin 90 days Managing Threatening Confrontations Certified (on the jobtraining) within 90 days For those driving their personal vehicles:Maintain a valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation withproof of vehicle insurance when requested. Have and maintain anacceptable driving record per Mercyhealth\'s HR.100 Fleet and DriverSafety policy.
