　　Position Summary

　　The Department of Information of Technology is seeking an Audiovisual Technician III to join their team.

　　In support of Morehouse School of Medicine’s Vision; “Leading the creation and advancement of health equity,” the Department of Information Technology Services is seeking an Audiovisual (AV) Technician. The Audiovisual (AV) Technician position is vital to the success of everyday technology at Morehouse School of Medicine.

　　The Audiovisual (AV) Technician is responsible for setup, running, and take down of audio/visual (A/V) equipment used throughout the institution. The AV Technician will also provide technical assistance and support throughout the institution including but not limited to providing technical assistance and support during events as requested or as needed. It is important that the AV Technician be familiar with the buildings on and off campus, its equipment, policies, programs, and services and the day-to-day schedule of events.

　　The Audiovisual Tech works closely with faculty, academic leadership, information technology leadership, and students with audiovisual needs.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Associates degree in information technology or related field or two years college and 2 years related experience in supporting Desktop and or Audiovisual or information technology, supporting faculty within a university environment. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

　　1-4 years of relevant experience.

　　Experience developing and delivering technical training to an audience with varying levels of technical understanding.

　　Skilled in the operations of computer or peripheral equipment.
