Corporate Litigation Attorney

Our client, a construction restoration company is looking for a 3 plus years corporate contracts/litigation counsel to support the legal and business teams. This a dynamic position requiring an energetic, outgoing, sales and customer service focused attorney with strong legal and business acumen and a pragmatic approach to negotiation and problem-solving. This position would be supporting a high volume and fast-paced commercial contracting, primarily supporting the sales team, providing timely legal guidance and support across several key departments, litigation support and management. The Corporate Litigation in house attorney will partner with senior leadership, sales, operations, HR, and finance teams to provide timely and practical legal advice on a daily basis. The Litigation Attorney will draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts related to sales, operations, employment, materials, services, and office leases. The Litigation Attorney will manage litigation and construction litigation experience is highly preferred. The Corporate Litigation counsel will maintain excellent customer relations when negotiating sales contracts, resolving project issues, and negotiating payment disputes. The corporate counsel will assist in pre-litigation and litigation efforts, including evidence gathering and analysis, legal research, discovery, pleading review, deposition prep, and management of select outside legal matters. We are looking for a corporate attorney who has excellent customer service and leadership skills, and a positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude. We are looking for a 3 plus years experienced litigation/commercial contracting attorney who is licensed to practice in a US jurisdiction but is residing in Colorado. Law firm and or in-house counsel experience required. Experience in construction is strongly preferred but not required. Experience in commercial litigation and trial practice strongly preferred and experience in commercial transactions and business law strongly preferred but not required. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of detail oriented experience as an Attorney or Lawyer within the Construction/Contractor industry

• Proven ability in Document Management

• Experience in Briefing and Civil Litigation

• Familiarity with Claim Administration and Complaint Handling procedures

• Must be a Licensed Attorney

• Proficiency in Commercial Litigation and Employment Litigation

• Comprehensive understanding of Employment Law - Employer

• Demonstrated knowledge of Construction Management

• Experience in Construction Litigation and Construction Law

• Familiarity with Construction Engineering and Construction processes

• Proven Construction Industry Experience.
