Description

Robert Half is partnering with a local prominent civil rights firm in Seattle that is looking to add an experienced associate to join their team. This position is fully remote, but candidates are required to be barred in Washington and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation. In this position, an attorney will be tackling federal civil rights claims against state and local government defendants with a focus on cases involving serious or catastrophic personal injury or wrongful death.

The salary range for this position is between 120k to 160k DOE. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision (employer paid for employee and derivatives); participation in the company’s 401(k) plan, flexible PTO + paid holidays, and CLE and Bar dues.

Requirements

Qualifications

Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Must be admitted to the WA state bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an attorney in civil litigation or civil rights litigation.

Demonstrated experience in document management and briefing.

Familiarity with arguing motions and drafting motions.

Experience in complex litigation - plaintiff or civil rights is highly desirable.

Knowledge of federal court procedures and practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

High ethical standards and professional integrity.
