Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our reputable law firm client. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of personal injury law, with a preference for those with a background in medical malpractice, premise liability, or other relevant personal injury work. Experience in prosecuting cases will also be strongly considered.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients.
Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Investigate and gather evidence to build strong cases for clients.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and relevant legal precedents.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the DC bar and in good standing.
Proven experience in personal injury law, with a focus on prosecuting cases, medical malpractice, premise liability, or related areas.
Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience.
Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Work Arrangement:
This is a full-time, in-office position. The candidate is expected to work regular office hours and be present in the office for effective collaboration with the team.
