onsemi is seeking to add to its law department an attorney with 8+ years legal experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel. The attorney will manage all aspects of EMEA legal operations with the title of Director of European Legal Operations. The generalist nature of this position requires knowledge of, and/or a willingness to learn about, multiple areas of the law. The successful candidate will be a team player who demonstrates flexibility and initiative while analyzing, drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide range of legal matters involving a semiconductor manufacturing company with operations throughout Europe and the Middle East. The job will require you to manage matters that may involve commercial law, corporate law, M&A, real estate law, and labor & employment law. This position also requires strong business acumen and an ability to work with business stakeholders within the company. Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred but not a requirement.

　　Responsibilities

　　Identifying both legal and business issues and providing guidance to business stakeholders.

　　Reviewing commercial agreements and negotiating directly with customers and vendors.

　　Working to address any contractual disputes and product warranty claim issues.

　　Managing litigation within EMEA.

　　Corporate entity management for EMEA subsidiaries.

　　Supporting M& A activities including contractual due diligence and negotiations when there is an EMEA impact.

　　Work with HR on labor and employment matters throughout EMEA.

　　Provide advice on owned and leased real estate within EMEA.

　　Undertaking legal research, coordinating with other corporate counsel, and managing outside counsel, as required.

　　Staying current with laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to the company and industry.
