　　The Athletic Trainer, based out of the Wellness Center, evaluates physical condition, advises and treats professional and amateur athletes to maintain maximum physical fitness for participation in athletic competition.The trainer will support the hospitals goal of excellence inpatient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.All duties and responsibilities will be performed in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospitals Catholic and Benedictine heritage and its values of hospitality, respect for others, stewardship, dignity of work, stability, and justice.Education and/or Experience

　　Bachelors degree required.Masters degree preferred.1-2 years of experience preferred.License/Certification/Registration

　　Licensed by the State of South Dakota required. Licensed by the State of Nebraska if requested.Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer required.BLS certification required.Work Schedule

　　Varies - practice/event coverage; PRN, as neededPay
