　　Minimum Qualifications Required:

　　Education: Minimum bachelor's degree or enrolled in a teaching program.

　　Experience Required: Teaching experience preferred, but not required.

　　Certification Required: Valid Louisiana teaching certificate preferred; if not, enrollment in alternate certification required.

　　Job Duties:

　　Implement the Athlos Athletic curriculum, focused on the development of physically literate students.

　　Appropriately differentiate activities to account for student’s physical capabilities.

　　Teach physical education in alignment with state standards.

　　Plan, prepare and deliver instruction that engages students and provides academic growth.

　　Ensure student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level.

　　Model the Athlos culture.

　　Responsible for tracking student attendance, behavioral issues and classroom events.

　　Communicate with parent/guardians and the community in a professional manner.

　　Participate in regular professional development.

　　Communicate regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.

　　Participate in the school's professional learning community to enhance learning objectives.

　　Meet professional obligations by honoring schedules and deadlines.

　　Other assigned duties.
