  Job Description

  The Engineering, Integration and Operations business area of Leidos has an opening for an Equipment Maintenance Functional/Technical Subject Matter Expert. Working out of Qatar, the appointed individual is responsible for overseeing and supporting the comprehensive operations and maintenance of systems and equipment across all contract locations. Their duties include addressing and resolving issues, problems, and concerns related to designated ATCALS, C2 equipment, and associated support equipment such as generators, HVACs/ECUs. This oversight aims to ensure continuous flight safety, maintain an orderly flow of air traffic, and guarantee the availability of critical ATC and C2 communications/data. The designee collaborates with Contractor site leads, Contractor Maintenance personnel, and Government personnel to gather necessary information for root cause analysis. They make determinations, design courses of action, and offer advice or decisions to promptly resolve issues, problems, and concerns. The designee must possess a thorough familiarity with assigned ATCALS and C2 equipment, including standard maintenance practices, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair techniques, and maintenance documentation.

  Subject Matter Expertise on the operation and maintenance of the following systems:

  CM-200, CM-300, GRC-171 & 211, GRR-23/24, PCAS, GRT-21/22, PRC-117F/G, RT-1319, TRC-176, URC-200, EPLRS radio, MIDS LVT 2, MIDS LVT11, AN/TRC-214, Joint Radio Relay (JR2), Cornet TVCS-L, LHSC, RT9000D, 721S-1, 721S-2, ALE, Have Quick, SINCGARS, KY-100, VSAT VRC-103, TTRS, RT-1747, Sun Air RT-9000, Hawkeye Lite, Ranger 1200, iDirect 850/950 Modem, 2050E Modem, DME, ILS, MMLS, MPN-23, UPS, RCSU-2238, TACAN, TRN-44, VOR, RSI/RCI or equivalent monitoring equipment, FMQ-19, FMQ-23, Micro-EARTS, Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), NRTD, STARS, STRAP, TDX-2000, MARK IVB, NEXION, Terminal Advisory System (TAS), GPN-27(or 20), MPN-25, TPS-75, UPX-27, UPX-37, UPX-44A, CM-200, CM-300, GRC-171 & 211, GRR-23/24, PCAS, GRT-21/22, ETVS, Liberty Star, PL-2000DT, PRC-117, RT-1319, TRC-214, TRC-176, URC-200, ATIS, DVRS, TTR

  Basic Qualifications

  Experience: Twelve (12) years of consecutive ATC experience working in both Control Tower and Radar facilities. Shall have been a Chief Controller for either Control Tower or a Radar facility.

  Extensive knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques for both control tower and approach control operations. Shall have held a certification (ATCS certificate, FAA Credential, FAA or DoD training records) for a RADAR facility. Shall have held an FAA (or international equivalent) Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate or FAA Credential with Tower rating.

  Education: Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course.

  Pay Range:

  Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

  The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
