The Opportunity
The Associate Specialist will be responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing projects and requests in support of the Insurance business. Deliverables range from sell sheets and other printed collateral to emails as well as local event support. Candidate must be comfortable interfacing with the business, have strong written communication skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter who is able to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
This role works from the Ally office in Detroit MI.
The Work Itself
Work closely with Marketing Manager to coordinate marketing programs for the Ally Insurance business within the US and CanadaManage timing and execution of integrated marketing materials for the U.S. and Canada Insurance business; including point of sale communications for dealership customers, dealer co-branded materials, video content, website content, dealer-targeted sales support, email marketing and moreManage logistical tasks in support of dealer events and sponsorship opportunities for the Insurance business in CanadaEnsure that deliverables are created and delivered on-time in support of programs and that marketing materials align with current configuration of the productsWork closely with business partners in US and Canada to understand business needs, review marketing materials and communicate updatesCoordinate with key internal support teams (i.e. UX, Finance, Content Studio) to develop and execute programsProvide direction and manage projects with multiple agency partners and vendors (advertising agencies, merchandise, print vendor)Utilize proper approval process with the business, marketing leadership, legal, and complianceMonitor inventory and availability of digital/printed dealership point of sale materials for dealers and sales teamAssist in monitoring and managing budget for projects including estimating, forecasting, monthly tracking and facilitating payments to third party vendorsMiscellaneous duties as assignedThe Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferredExperience in advertising or marketing role preferredKnowledge of automotive industry and/or financial services strongly preferredAgency experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy for project executionSelf-directed and shows initiativeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to travel as neededHow We'll Have Your Back

Expert: 85000
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
