Join our DevOps Engineering Team!
Assist us in maturing our DevOps capabilities targeting various cloud and on-prem platforms.
Key Accountabilities:
Take ownership of engineering tasks and be accountable for seeing the same through completion.
Be a teammate who communicates well and is pro-active in collaborating with people across departments.
Be part of a leading team that paves the path for others through Proof of Technology around tools, code management, pipelines, reporting, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Contribute to the design and deployment of infrastructure in the Cloud and DevOps tooling and processes for operations.
Participate in discussions and contribute to the DevOps practices and conventions across the company.
Build automation and pipelines to accelerate the delivery of new features to our customers and minimize failures.
Work with Cloud based technical architectures, solution migration strategies, and assist with engineering on application optimizations.
Skills and Experience required are as follows:
Minimum 1 year development experience in Jenkins, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Shell scripting, Microsoft AZURE, Terraform.Other Technical Skills:
Proficiency in writing software in one or more languages, such as .Net, Java, Node, Python. Exposure to microservices.
Grounding in DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as Terraform, Chef, and HELM charts.
Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies with tools such as K8s and docker.
Extensive experience with Jenkin, Artifactory, SonarCube will be a big plus.
Familiarity with package management tools such as npm, pip.
Familiarity with build processes and build tools such as maven, gradle.
Familiarity with standard IT security practices.
Familiarity with database technologies in cloud such as Azure SQL, Cosmos/Mongo.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$59,570.00 CAD - $110,630.00 CAD
