Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Princeton, NJ
Hours: Monday – Friday / 37.5 - 40 hours weekly
Type: Contract
Overview:
The candidate for this position will support the Sexual Health and Women's Health businesses with the development of new compositions and product improvements. This laboratory position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills and business sense as well as ability to multi-task, and work both independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Making and testing products in the lab that fall under sexual health and women's health with minimal supervision.
Chemical compounding/latex compounding
Conduct data analysis following Test Methods
Perform Design of Experiments
Perform testing and analysis according to procedure and make lab prototypes
Perform viscosity testing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry or related scientific discipline.
Minimum 6 months - 2 years of industry experience
Prior experience working in a scientific laboratory and using benchtop / analytical instrumentation like lab mixer, pH meter, viscometer, tensile tester, etc.
Experience with Airburst testing a plus but not required
Proficient in MS Office
Capable of working remotely if needed (performing data analysis, competitive product counting)
