　　The Opportunity

　　This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Vascular division .

　　Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.

　　What You’ll Do

　　Plan and drive to work towards achieving company vision, objectives as well as divisional mission and strategies.

　　Participate in the development of local marketing objectives, strategies, and ensure their execution.

　　Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market development.

　　Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing and expense budgets.

　　Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.

　　Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.

　　Develop, implement and update product training to sales force on an ongoing basis.

　　Manages the responsible operational budget effectively.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

　　1 to 3 years of relevant experience in commercial related positions or projects.

　　Experience working with medical devices.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Good understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles, strong numerical skills.

　　Drive for results.

　　Innovation and initiative.

　　Strong Influencing and interpersonal skills.

　　Customer focused; comprehensive industry knowledge.

　　Strong knowledge of computer-based programs including spreadsheets and graphics.
