Research and source new products from domestic andinternational vendors. Visit vendors and attend product tradeshows toincrease knowledge of manufacturing processes and market trends. Provideproduct recommendations after reviewing competitors\' offerings,customer comments, and market trends. Participate in vendor meetings andlead some negotiation sessions. Assist in the catalog layout preparationprocesses and strategize with Product Manager on new product placementwithin the catalog. Seek creative methods to increase companyprofitability, product quality, and efficiency. Collaboratively workwith the Purchasing, Creative, Quality Control, Compliance, and Pricingteams. Mentor and train Marketing Associates. Minimum RequirementsBachelor\'s degree. 2 to 5 years of experience in Product Management,Supply Chain, or Marketing. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especiallyExcel. Persuasive written and verbal communicator. Organized andanalytical, with relentless attention to detail.
