　　SUMMARY OF POSITION:

　　Responsible for maintaining and/or implementing functionality associated with the Department of Pharmacy automated dispensing systems. Troubleshoots issues related to daily operations and serves as a primary liaison with automation vendor(s), pharmacy staff, and nursing in regards to medication dispensing systems.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent required.

　　1 year experience Pharmacy Automation experience required.

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

　　Working knowledge of computer operations, WEB based applications and pharmacy information system tools and software required.

　　Effective oral and written communications skills required.

　　Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

　　Proficiency using Microsoft Excel at a beginner level required.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Associates Degree preferred.

　　Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

　　Able to sit/walk occasionally; stand frequently.

　　Able to lift 0-10 lbs. constantly; 11-100 occasionally.

　　Able to carry 0-10 lbs. constantly; 11-100 lbs. occasionally.

　　Able to push 0-10 lbs. constantly; 11-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.

　　Able to pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally. Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.

　　Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
