Project Kuiper's mission is to deliver fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world through the creation of a constellation of satellites in low earth orbit. Kuiper is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Fulfillment Operations Worldwide for Satellites and Ground system Product Streams.The Senior Manager will be the single-threaded owner responsible for creating and executing the long-term strategy for how Kuiper will receive, store, kit, and transport for its satellites and Ground Systems. The organization spans from owning inbound logistics of components and raw materials through the delivery of completed satellites to the rocket launch providers. Further, the organization would own logistics strategy end to end for Ground systems. This team will need to manage the material out of the suppliers, they would run the Critical Material Reviews (CMR's) and be responsible for capturing promise dates and aligning those with the factory consumption. Clear To Build (CTB) will be the responsibility of this leader. The Manager's responsibilities will include end to end safety and quality, implementation of a warehouse (end to end ownership and management) strategy, resource planning, leading creation of Standard Work processes, and coordination with customers to ensure their needs are met. Safety and product quality are paramount. This role will also own the Automation team and Fulfillment planning team that will enable efficiency, cost effectiveness, and smooth running of satellite manufacturing. The Manager and their team will work tightly with manufacturing teams to understand usage rates and establish replenishment methods. They will leverage our teams in procurement and supply chain to enable high-volume production throughput. The role is based in Redmond, WA.Reporting to the Director of Operations, the leader will have significant visibility at the senior leadership level. This role will focus on aggressive plans to implement and scale fulfillment processes to meet the demands of the Kuiper constellation.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who knows how to structure and develop organizations to accommodate growth rates of over 100% for next several of years.In addition to above, this leader will have superb communications skills and the highest level of integrity and intellectual honesty.
