Description

　　Provide strategical vision necessary for Fenestration wide scope and plan execution. Act as interface between suppliers and internal/external customers to ensure supplier's efforts support the plant and Enterprise Marvin KPIS and expectations.

　　Highlights of your role

　　Responsible for supporting benchmarks for fenestration commodities for the company at the best total value regarding price, delivery, and quality and other considerations (ex. partnership, innovation). Work on implementing the overall strategic plan on smaller commodities for all Marvin Collections.

　　Collaborate with Marvin collections on assigned commodities to develop, drive best practices, solutions in day to day purchasing, and strategic plans. Continue to seek feedback on plans effectiveness in support of alignment and the overall one Marvin approach.

　　Work with the Sr. Fenestration Commodities Manager on feedback for Strategic Sourcing. Provide insight on the overall results from the supply base. Know when to escalate high level items. Establish escalation processes when needed (if missing or absent).

　　Maintain supplier performance trends, analyzing and inputting data. Enhance and develop technical knowledge of commodities and industries in which suppliers operate.

　　You're a good if you have

　　2+ years Purchasing experience, preferably in a made to order complex environment.

　　Proficient with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel.

　　Familiarity with vendor management and knowing how to conduct benchmarks analysis.

　　Strong communication and purchasing knowledge is a must to be successful in the position.

　　Thinking differently and building relationships internal and external will be critical in this role.
