This individual is expected to have a high level of knowledge related to post-award accounting and regulatory principles.The Associate Director oversees the grant analyst team, including training and onboarding of new staff, ongoing training for staff and the research community related to changing regulations, and review and approval of cost transfers, invoices, new hires and other workflow.The Associate Director supervises a Manager and 9 Grant Analysts. A major focus of this position will be to ensure that excellence in customer service is provided to the research community and that adequate one-on-one training is provided wherever needed. The Associate Director coordinates written, online and live training opportunities with the assistance of his/her staff.This position has been designated as a hybrid position.
