The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)\'s Health AccessEligibility & Enrollment Unit (HAEEU) seeks a highly organized HealthCare Assistant Administrator to join their team. The Health Care Assistant Administrator I position has the followingresponsibilities:
Responsible for changes to the online and paper health care applicationsand forms.
Responsible for drafting, editing, and maintaining customer eligibilitynotices.
Develop new applications, forms, and notices as required.
Works directly and indirectly with the Notice Manager, AssistantOperations (AOPS) teams, health Care Appeals Team, Application andDocument Processing Center (ADPC), the Health Care Policy Unit, membersof leadership, and other stakeholders on the development and maintenanceof health care applications and forms.
Develops and maintains new and existing Exchange applications andnotices in close collaboration with and as requested by Program Leadsfrom other AHS Departments to ensure consistency and clarity and toavoid redundancies and conflicting information.
Routes all communications for approval to all departments affected bythe communication.
Assists the Notice Team with notice mailings in a timely and efficientmanner.
Maintain and organize applications and notices template library.
Lead small projects and communicate progress to leadership effectively.
Maintain knowledge of health care eligibility systems, rules, policies,and internal processes and procedures.
Work with colleagues in other departments.
Facilitating meetings and working sessions with colleagues.
Needed Skills:
Knowledge and experience with written communications to the generalpublic.
Understanding of Plain Language writing and practices to communicatecomplex health care messages.
Experience with Microsoft Word formatting and copy-editing features.
Proficient in both Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and MicrosoftSharePoint.
Familiar with mail mergers and other mass communication tools.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Ability to write grammatically correct documents.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
