  The Role

  Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) is seeking an experienced external communications and media relations expert who is motivated and prepared to identify, develop and drive announcements, generate media coverage and stories about the company’s customers, partnerships and global business practices, that illustrate how Kyndryl helps companies around the world run more smoothly, efficiently, and securely. In this role, you will join a growing team of creative professionals focused on finding thoughtful and strategic ways to showcase Kyndryl’s work across vertical industries by demonstrating and showcasing the importance of managing information technology infrastructures for enterprises everywhere.

  We’re interested in a candidate who has a passion for discovering and cultivating thought leadership opportunities that consistently elevate the eminence of Kyndryl’s business strategy and progress in news and feature stories written by journalists, influencers, analysts, and other external influencers. The role requires a curious and ambitious media relations expert who is hungry for an understanding for how the world works. You will be expected to proactively uncover and develop external editorial opportunities, generate, monitor, and track results.

  We need someone who can distill complex topics into coherent understandable messages and storylines, who also knows how to ask the right questions of experienced subject ma1er experts to translate technical materials into compelling and understandable narratives. The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility and diplomacy to work with colleagues and stakeholders across a global corporate environment.

  If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $107,600 to $258,240 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

  If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan.

  Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies.   Who You Are

  Bachelors degree required.

  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in media relations, journalism, public relations and/or a related field.

  Prior experience writing press releases.

  Deep sense of curiosity and ability to seek out the latest trends at the intersection of business, culture, and technology.

  A proven ability to proactively pitch a range of business and technology media outlets.

  Proven ability to explore and understand deeply technical subjects and weave the relevant details into compelling stories that are relevant to a non-technical audience.

  Experience conducting interviews with subject matter experts.

  Adept at concurrently managing multiple projects from beginning to end.

  Willingness to collaborate with team members to find, surface and tell compelling stories.

  The capacity to meet challenging deadlines.
